Position Overview:

An Assistant Business Development Associate works alongside the Sales Department Managers to develop appointment-setting strategies to maximize dealership traffic. This role requires the skill set to identify sales prospects, facilitate customer loyalty, repeat business with the dealership, and mine the service drive for trade opportunities.

This position is an hourly role with the opportunity to make $20.00 to $21.00 per hour.

  • You are proficient and strongly understand BDC and CRM tools.
  • You can establish and support continuous improvement efforts for the BDC and develop and maintain BDC labor standards to optimize productivity and serve customer needs.
  • You are self-motivated and goal-oriented. You have the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while achieving BDC-related customer satisfaction goals measured by manufacturer surveys.
  • You have excellent customer service skills and are clear in your communication, verbal and written.
  • You stay informed on industry trends and have the proven ability to create and manage a positive and productive work environment within the BDC.
  • You manage a team in ways that minimize turnover and encourage professional growth.
  • You are a professional with a strong work ethic.
  • You can effectively work on behalf of the local dealership with the dealership staff, customers, and communications technology vendors.
  • You value the customer experience and understand the importance of building customer loyalty throughout the vehicle-buying experience.
  • You are a dedicated, energetic team player who wants to join our ever-growing network of dealerships.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support in the effort to ensure that the BDC productivity goals are accurately forecasted and consistently achieved
  • Achieve BDC-related customer satisfaction goals measured by manufacturer's surveys.
  • Assist the BDC Manager with the commitment-tracking systems for the sales team (logins, appointment tracking, reports, etc.)
  • Review and reach out to prospects with a personalized message before their service visit, identified as the Equity/Service Mining tool (Automotive Mastermind).
  • Support the BDC manager in creating accurate and timely sales management reports.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Eligible to receive a Colorado salesperson license
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a favorable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
  • Authorized to work in the United States
