Opportunity Summary

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities of a project.

Your scope of responsibility includes the following primary functions:

  • Work and support the team to achieve revenue, profit and backlog goals
  • Work closely with General Manager to execute Greenberry project strategy
  • Support and promote Quality and Safety initiatives throughout the project; ensure every employee goes home safely every day and comply with all required quality procedures
  • Organize and direct the daily efforts and activities of the project team; establish appropriate priorities
  • Prepare and submit project budgets
  • Plan and prepare project schedules
  • Reviews and understands contracts
  • Manage customer relationships
  • Work with Superintendents and General Foremen
  • Purchase materials and equipment needed to complete the project
  • Review and submit change orders to client contracts
  • Review and approve subcontract change orders
  • Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and staff
  • Close out projects in a comprehensive and efficient manner
  • Report to work, on time and prepared to perform all tasks as outlined in job description and / or assigned

Why you’re the perfect addition to our Team (about you):

  • Prefer Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Construction Engineering or 5 years of related equivalent education and experience
  • 5 years or more heavy commercial and industrial construction experience
  • Must have direct industry knowledge and know how to speak the language
  • Must have strong understanding of millwright, pipefitting, steel fabrication, and welding technology
  • Must be capable of running a small five-person team to a 200 person team
  • Must be able to read, understand and follow blueprints and drawings
  • Must be computer literate with excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, managerial, mathematical and analytical skills
  • Must be able to read, write and be able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to work independently and be able to exercise independent judgment within defined parameters
  • High-energy, self-motivated, driven, strong work ethic and accountable
  • Outstanding at guiding teams and executing projects
  • Creative problem solver
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to professionally represent the company in face-to-face meetings with clients and have phone skills

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:

  • Must possess good manual dexterity; must be able to sit, stand, kneel, and squat; must be able to lift at least 50 pounds; must be able to hear, speak and see within normal ranges (use of corrective devices is allowed)
  • Normally works on job site where work is performed in a variety of environments; may be outside or in a manufacturing environment. Will be exposed to weather, dirt/dust, loud noise, and must be able to wear personal protective equipment.

Compensation and Benefits:

The initial annual compensation will range from $100,000 to $140,000 based on skills and qualifications.
