Preschool Lead Teacher

Job Summary
The Preschool Lead Teacher is responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children ages 3-5. The Lead Teacher will work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all children in the classroom
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and growth
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency in curriculum and classroom management
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Attend all required staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to early childhood education
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood education theories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet all state and federal requirements for working in a licensed childcare facility
