Great Plains Tower Products is seeking a motivated individual who is looking to build a career with a company with impressive growth potential. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing a customer base throughout the US and even globally as well as finding opportunities for growth in new markets. Great Plains is one of the leaders in quality tower fabrication among other products. We are looking for a motivated individual with the ability to learn about new markets and build relationships. With the current product lines and capacity there is plenty of room for personal financial growth.
Responsibilities:
· Build relationships with current and past customers to make Great Plains their preferred provider for tower products.
· Seek new potential customers and leads and identify their needs and provide solutions that will aid in building a long-lasting relationship with Great Plains.
· Research and find new and current market opportunities to sell the multiple products offered.
· Attending trade shows and representing the company in different trade associations to build a network with potential customers and find new opportunities.
· Work to build relationships with State DOT’s and municipalities to get product specked on bids.
· Learn about products offered to help develop a knowledge base that will help in selling the total package of value offered.
o Take advantage of opportunities to learn about products and industry.
o Take advantage of opportunities to learn about competitive products.
· Consistent communication with Management and internal team to ensure accountability as well as exceptional customer experience.
o Daily call log including what was discussed and with who and required follow-up.
o Communication of customer key contacts and information to help develop and maintain customer records.
o Attend weekly meetings to discuss and review current opportunities, successes, and challenges.
· Aid in collection of any past due accounts or payments.
The position requires:
· Valid Drivers license with insurable record
· Substantial travel and overnights may be required
· Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary (trade shows)
The ideal candidate will have:
· 3 years relatable experience in a similar role
· Good time management, organizational, and communication skills
· Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
