Key Duties and Responsibilities Aware of work area; trucks and ground personnel Communicate with haul equipment Understand stakes i.e. lines and grade Understanding lift thickness 8” Ability to grade for positive drainage (Preparing for a rain event) Understand soils and the changing of soils Keep a level uniform fill Understand and utilizes slot dozing when preforming Cat fill Ability to realize when they are production dozing Know when it is time to finish areas Qualifications Knowledgeable in OSHA standards for excavations. Understand slopes, cuts, and different soil types. Experience using chop saws and other misc. tools. Communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize.
