We specialize in entertainment (kids' TV, educational media, documentaries and the arts, toys, licensing, consumer products, tech, etc.) and we're always on the lookout for whip-smart, creative, hard-working, highly-organized, ultra-reliable and "on it," communications-oriented, self-starters who are hungry to make their mark in a dynamic field as part of our "Grand" team for a long-term opportunity. If you are a social media rockstar with excellent verbal communication skills, writing talent, and powers of persuasion, you could be our newest team member!

Must be quick to dig your heels in, rise to any challenge, and bring real value to the agency and our clients. Must regularly contribute to the success of the agency's PR/social media/influencer campaigns, taking pride in your work and seeing how you fit into the bigger picture. Regular contact with clients, media, and influencers as well as opportunities to assist with events, trade shows, and more.

Journalism/Communications/PR background candidates preferred. MUST have solid professional, on-the-job PR and social media experience, ideally two years or more, with existing media/influencer contacts and proactive press hits already under your belt. Salary commensurate with experience. NY-based candidates only.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• working closely with the team (and on your own) to develop and execute results-driven media-, influencer- and social media-based campaigns and promotional activities for clients on an ongoing basis
• taking on and assisting with assignments based of the needs of the firm and the companies and brands it represents
• researching, establishing, and honing new and existing relationships with key media and influencers, especially those in the kids/parents/families/entertainment space
• regularly pitching and placing national and market-specific stories for series/film/product launches, news, initiatives, events, and more
• securing, arranging, and overseeing media interviews
• drafting and editing press releases, pitch letters, and other materials for use with media
• helping to establish, manage and grow followers and engagement on the social media pages (FB, IG, etc.) of the brands/companies the firm represents
• proactively and thoughtfully contributing to team and client brainstorms
• assisting with PR proposals/plans/presentations, coverage updates and wrap-up reports

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
