Sales Support I
Government Acquisitions Inc. (GAI) – is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our highly skilled Sales Team. The Sales Support Specialist I interacts directly with customers to fulfill customer needs and ensure total customer satisfaction. This role will be based out of Cincinnati, OH.
Job Description & Work Responsibilities (Tasks include but are not limited to the following):
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers always.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints
  • Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
  • Provide Sales Support Day-to-Day
  • Provide administrative support to Account Executives and the Sales Team
  • Update ERP with proposal/bid information
  • Use Salesforce to document leads and report sales
  • Track and trace orders for sales team and customers
  • Continuous online training with Original Equipment Manufacturers
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Education: High school diploma (AS/BS in Business Admin, Communication or related degree preferred)
Experience: 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
*Experience and Education can be substituted for each other at the hiring manager’s discretion

  • You are service-oriented and responsive to internal and external customer's requests with appropriate level of urgency
Interpersonal/Teamwork: 
  • Must work cooperatively with Field Sales Representative(s) and Inside Sales Representative(s)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Oral and Written Communication:
  • Ability to clearly communicate via telephone
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
Integrity/Honesty: Must act ethically, with integrity & honesty at all times.
