Good Guard Security is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Unarmed Security Officers. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, a keen sense of observation, and a commitment to providing exceptional security services.
Responsibilities:
1. Access Control: Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter.
2. Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols to detect and deter suspicious activities. Utilize surveillance equipment and report any unusual incidents.
3. Customer Service: Interact with clients, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Provide assistance and information as needed.
4. Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and security incidents. Follow established procedures to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
5. Incident Reporting: Document and report all incidents, accidents, or suspicious activities in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
7. Maintain Order: Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure a secure environment.
8. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the security team, supervisors, and other relevant personnel.
9. Training: Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on security protocols and industry best practices.
10. Adherence to Policies: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.
Requirements:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. State-mandated security guard license (if applicable).
3. Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is a plus.
4. Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
7. Basic computer skills for incident reporting.
8. Physical fitness and the ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.
9. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
