Training will be 4 weeks in our Gold Canyon Location. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8:15 to 4:45 and Friday 8:15-1pm.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality care to patients and support healthcare professionals in various medical settings.
**Duties:**
- Perform clinical and administrative tasks to support patient care
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments and shot administration
- Record patient information in electronic health records
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take vital signs and record patient history
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups
- Ensure compliance with medical laws and regulations
**Experience:**
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in medical administrative support
- Understanding of geriatric care
- Exposure to internal medicine practices
- Strong focus on patient service
- Basic life support certification
- Anatomy knowledge
