Medical Assistant needed for Internal Medicine practice in east Mesa.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a medical assistant; Entry level applicants who graduated from Medical Assistant program and are eager to learn and contribute are also encouraged to apply
• Organized, reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic
• Excellent computer, telephone and interpersonal skills
• Willing to learn and a can do attitude

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

1. Rooming patients, take vitals, document in EMR accurately and timely
2. Assist with procedures and exams
3. Stock,setup and clean exam rooms
4. Injections, EKG's, UA's, PFT's, ABI, Blood draw, etc
5. Communicating with patients regarding test results, messages and follow up
6. Prior authorizations, referrals and prescription refill management

7. Schedule appointments and verify insurance

8. All other related tasks as assigned

Salary is negotiable. Applicant must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be a graduate of a Medical Assistant program, and be able to pass employment background check. Verifiable professional references required.
