We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Landscape Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the overall appearance of our clients' outdoor spaces.
As a Landscape Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to work outdoors and engage in a variety of tasks to ensure that our clients' landscapes are well-maintained and visually appealing. This includes performing regular landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, pruning, fertilizing, and watering. You will also be responsible for identifying and addressing any landscape issues, such as pest infestations or disease outbreaks, to ensure the health and vitality of the plants and trees.
In addition to regular maintenance tasks, you will also have the opportunity to assist in landscape improvement projects. This may involve planting new trees, shrubs, or flowers, constructing hardscapes such as walkways or retaining walls, or installing irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, pruning, fertilizing, and watering
- Identify and address landscape issues such as pest infestations or disease outbreaks
- Assist in landscape improvement projects including planting new trees, shrubs, or flowers
- Construct hardscapes such as walkways or retaining walls
- Install and maintain irrigation systems
- Operate and maintain landscape equipment and tools
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area before leaving the site
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field preferred
- Knowledge of various plants, trees, and shrubs commonly found in the area
- Basic understanding of landscape design principles
- Ability to operate and maintain landscape equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members
