The Position
We are looking for a Service Technician who will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community to include but not limited to: general maintenance and repairs, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems, general grounds/curb appeal management, and “make ready” renovations
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.
- Ensures the completion of service requests in 24 hours or per community policy.
- Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors and supervisors.
- Maintains and repairs buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts.
- Assists with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies; Exercises safety if needed to assist with moving heavy items, such as furniture/appliances, and unloading/storing supplies.

Experience:
- 1 year of General Maintenance background with experience in construction, plumbing, electrical and HVAC
- 1 year previous residential experience strongly preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license

Hours/Shift: primarily 8:30am-6:00pm Monday - Friday; Shifts will include rotating weekends and evenings as well as on-call shifts.
