We are working with an established plastics manufacturing company based in Allentown, PA. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join their team on Days (Sun-Thurs) in return for an hourly rate of $28.00-$30.00/hour based on expierence along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, and opportunity for quarterly bonuses.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Perform preventative/reactive maintenance and repairs on Blow Molding and Stretch Molding machinery.
- Troubleshoot, repair and test defective equipment
- Pneumatic/Hydraulic maintenance on machinery
- PLC troubleshooting and fault diagnosing
- Reading and following blue prints and schematics
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Understand Motor Controls, PLC- A PLUS Comfortable with up to 480 V
- Trouble shoot electrical and mechanical break downs
- Handy man to modify and make repairs
- Able to read and understand Electrical and mechanical prints and drawings
