Sales and Development Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking an adaptive and strategic Sales and Development Representative to join our team. As a Development Specialist, you will be responsible for various duties including training and development, administrative duties, order fulfillment, materials handling, and quality control.

This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced diverse environment. Overall, the goal of this role is to enhance product awareness, educate both customers and staff, and ultimately drive sales through engaging tasting and training sessions.

About the role:

  • Source new sale opportunities through outbound calls and emails.
  • Research, prospect and engage new corporate partners in the local market.
  • Manage opportunities by utilizing CRM, email and outreach tools and resources to cultivate and maintain sales pipeline.
  • Develop creative, fun and innovative ways to connect and build out relationships with potential partners.
  • Start developing understanding of features, ingredients, and recipes curtailed from the products being promoted or sold. This includes understanding the production process, origin, and any unique recipes.
  • Create social marketing collateral, such as product demo videos, client testimonials, and interactive brochures, to attract and engage prospects and customers.
  • Ensuring that all activities related to tasting and training sessions comply with relevant regulations and guidelines, particularly those related to food safety where applicable.
  • Assist with inventory management.
  • Pack orders and promoting timely processing of orders.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders.
  • All other duties as assigned!

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with salesforce or similar CRM preferred
  • A natural problem solver and goal achiever
  • Strong relationship builder with the ability to collaborate
  • Willingness to make multiple phone calls and email contacts daily
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintaining daily KPIs and metrics
  • Being proficient in Excel, Word, PDF and perform data analysis
  • Engaging with consumers to add value on their experience with the brand
  • Right to work in the US
