Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the clinical staff in providing high-quality services to our clients. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to a team of therapists, counselors, and other clinical staff
- Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions to review cases, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop treatment plans and interventions for clients
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, ethical standards, and agency policies
- Provide crisis intervention and support to staff as needed
- Conduct performance evaluations of clinical staff and provide ongoing feedback for professional development
- Stay up-to-date with current research, best practices, and industry trends in the field of counseling and therapy
Experience:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Current licensure as a Clinical Supervisor or ability to obtain licensure within a specified timeframe
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing direct clinical services in a mental health or counseling setting
- Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, special education principles, child family counseling approaches, pediatrics, psychotherapy modalities, addiction counseling strategies, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems, behavioral therapy techniques, and behavior management strategies
- Proven experience in providing clinical supervision and leading a team of clinicians
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
