Description
This position will direct and supervise clinical and non-clinical team member in both the Baltimore and Columbia Location. Programs include, substance use disorder (Level 1, 2.1, & 2.5) As a Clinical supervisor, you will have regular, structured meetings with staff to discuss treatments and professional issues. You will guide clinicians to assess clients’ mental health, develop suitable treatments, and make referrals. You will select, train, evaluate, discipline, and motivate staff. You will always ensure the quality of clinical documentation.
To be successful in this role you need to display strong leadership and make prudent decisions to maintain practitioners who can adequately fulfill clients’ treatment needs. You must organize, knowledgeable and have excellent communicators.
Requirements
Having regular meetings with the governing board, department heads, and clinicians.
Schedule and facilitates weekly clinical meetings
Overseeing and reviewing clinician's work procedures.
Counseling, motivating, and disciplining Clinicians, and referring advanced issues to
upper management.
Ensuring clinicians comply with licensure and registration requirements.
Work with Medical Director ensuring compliance, accuracy, and quality of clinical
documentation.
Supervised up to 6 clinicians
Assisting clinicians by supervising complex cases.
Enhancing operations by ensuring sufficient staffing and adequate access to services.
Participate in interviews, hiring and determination
Developing programs and ensuring compliance with procedures and policies.
Carry a small case load of 10 Clients
Design and implement business strategies to assist the clinic and other programs to
realize business goals
Oversee the department's compliance with legal policies, guidelines, and standards
Ensure departments have sufficient and qualified personnel
Organize and run all patient care or administrative operations and programs
Ensure all medical records and other clinic documentation are current and within state
and federal laws
Participate in quarterly and annual employee reviews and provide feedback on their
performance to help motivate their dedication to professional goals
Participate in planning and management of the clinic's budget and approve payroll
Act as a connection between clients, their families and additional care staff
