Healing Hope Community, Inc. is Hiring an OMHC Clinical Supervisor - LCSW-C, LCMFT, LCPAT, or LCADC Near Baltimore, MD

Healing Hope Community, Inc. (HHCI) is one of Maryland’s newest non-profit mental health organizations. HHCI is in search of a Clinical Supervisor (CS) who will initially be hired as a part-time 1099 independent contractor. As the organization grows, the CS will have the option to join the team full-time as an employee with benefits. This position is currently remote, but will require the CS to report to the office (located in Baltimore, MD) as needed. This need will be determined and communicated to the CS by the Clinical Director/CEO.

Position Summary:

The CS provides clinical and administrative supervision of the functions of the Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC) within the Treatment and Recovery Services division, and ensures that the clinic is operating in compliance with all of HHCI’s regulators and governing bodies. The CS holds responsibility for ensuring that clients are receiving high quality care, and that personnel are utilizing evidence-based practices to assist clients with achieving their treatment and recovery goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, approve, and address any discrepancies with clinical documentation of direct reports, including progress notes and assessments
  • Provide clinical supervision to direct reports within the OMHC, as well as other departments within the division as needed
  • Participate in interviews with candidates for vacant positions
  • Communicate and collaborate with other divisions/departments within the organization
  • Collaborate with consented external providers and internal clinic personnel regarding the treatment goals of mutually shared clients
  • Complete required trainings within established timeframes
  • Review, approve, and address any discrepancies with timecards, and time off requests
  • Complete personnel performance reviews
  • Conduct chart audits as assigned by the Quality and Compliance department and CS' direct supervisor, as well as conduct unassigned chart audits
  • Participate in the performance improvement/progressive disciplinary process
  • On-call responsibilities via phone as needed
  • Comply with all relevant standards and regulations of HHCI, the state of Maryland’s Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), The Joint Commission, HIPAA
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Clinical Director

Required Qualifications:

-Master’s degree in social work (MSW), counseling psychology, rehabilitation counseling, marriage and family therapy (MFT), creative arts therapy, or a related field from an accredited master's program

-Licensed in the state of Maryland as a LCSW-C, LCMFT, LCPAT, or LCADC

-Board-approved supervisor with the respective licensing board

-Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access), electronic health records, and the use of computers/laptops

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong preference for-

-Supervisory experience

-Experience with the standards and policies of accrediting bodies such as The Joint Commission, or Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)

-Experience with individuals who are diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness, and/or dually diagnosed with mental health and substance use conditions

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
