Glen Oaks Escrow is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Glendale, CA

We are looking for a dynamic individual whose primary responsibility will be to promote our escrow services and generate new escrow leads in the Glendale territory. This position requires someone who is highly motivated, extremely organized, team-oriented, creative, and possesses outstanding communication and negotiating skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Find real estate brokers through multiple research mechanisms. Generate a database of brokers that are consistently called upon to see what we can do to earn their escrow business
  • Consistently follow-up on leads, database contacts and partnership opportunities
  • Represent Escrow Officers and company at conferences, events and dinners to promote services provided
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients with Escrow Officers
  • Meet with key clients, assisting Escrow Officers with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals
  • Prepare sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and services of the competition
  • Remain in constant communication with Escrow Officers on all leads, clients, and deals to determine what else can be done to secure their long term business

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in sales/business development
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, carry through and close a deal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong “client focus”
  • Ability to be creative and think uniquely to structure deals
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to assess client needs effectively and address needs through existing and new products and services
  • Experience negotiating and closing deals
