Overview

The Business Analyst will provide support to the Malt division in the areas of data extraction, reporting, and system application of complex pricing strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing and discounts to ensure the proper margins are met; notify sales managers if margins are too low
• Audit pricing and ensure timely communication of retail pricing letters for multiple branches; work with Division Sales Mangers and Pricing Coordinators to make corrections as needed
• Analyze promotional budgets and discounts to evaluate effectiveness and ROI
• Analyze inventory reports by branch; make decisions on how to relieve excess inventory
• Monitor Vendor Accounts Receivable and assist in the collection of outstanding balances
• Track, prepare and distribute reports on incentive programs and sales goals
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in pricing with vendors
• Support Malt Beverage market reviews and surveys during key holiday periods
• Assist in the development of business and marketing plans for soliciting new vendors
• Create reports, dashboards, P&L’s and presentations and analysis for management
• Perform other job related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor degree plus 1 year of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in the sales and marketing of alcoholic beverages
• Knowledge of and experience in SAP, specifically data extraction an reporting
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Access and Excel; familiar with other MS office programs
