business Analyst
A Guidewire business analyst is expected to carry out the following
- Requirement Elicitation
- Participate in workshops
- Prepare Design documents.
- Knowledge in Software Configuration management
- validate application in various environments.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
- Analyze business processes and translate requirements into Guidewire functional specifications and/or story card for PolicyCenter configuration.
- Bring in thought leadership and provide solutions to align the solution aligned with OOTB best practices, conduct product gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement and optimization.
- Provide subject matter expertise in Personal Property / Auto / Umbrella lines of business.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of PolicyCenter solutions.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate training sessions for end-users.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in insurance and Guidewire platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Guidewire platform with Extensive hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation. 10 years of experience in Insurance projects
- Strong understanding of Personal Property, Personal Auto, or Personal Umbrella lines of business.
- Proven track record of leading successful PolicyCenter implementations from inception to post-production support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Guidewire Associate certification.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
