Gittleman Construction is Hiring a Maintenance Technician (Handyman) Near Minneapolis, MN
This position will provide a gas card, vehicle, health insurance, and profit sharing among other benefits. Successful candidates will have:
- General handyman experience
- Drywall repair, taping and painting experience
- Valid driver's license
- Clean background and DMV record
- Willingness to work some on-call shifts (roughly every 7-9 weeks)
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Ability to work rotating after hours "On-Call" shifts
- Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours each workday
- Ability to adjust, lift, push, and pull heavy objects a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and balance regularly
- Ability to do ladder/step work which would include carrying ladders, scaffolding, and walking up/down stairs
- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts
- Contact with sharp, hot and/or very cold supplies and equipment
- Must maintain safety procedures at all times to prevent work injuries
