D.H. Gustafson is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Minneapolis, MN
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for two properties. The properties are conveniently located in Minneapolis and Edina. Your time will be split between the two.
Company Van and gas card provided. On Call is on a 6 week rotation.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to advance within the field (continuing education and certification opportunities available)
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems
- Follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to communicate with residents, co-workers and management
- Two years working experience in facility maintenance
- Inside and outside in all weather conditions
General Duties:
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible to performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the property.
- Work with the maintenance team and management to ensure the quality of work meets the standards set by the owner.
- Perform tasks associated with electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
- Repair and treat structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls and building exteriors.
- Pool maintenance and testing.
- Make ready units for new move-ins.
- Regular, on-time attendance.
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred Training:
- CPO - Certified Pool Operator
- Boiler license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
