This position is responsible for establishing community connections to secure girl and adult membership in the surrounding communities.

We are looking for someone who possesses the drive to win, lead, and be successful and the ability to build lasting relationships in communities. This position will mainly be focused on Stanly County but may be assigned to other counties as needed.

What Winning in this Role Looks Like

  • Organizing and coordinating informational/promotional events, troops and meetings, or presentations for girls and adults through community venues.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strategic relationships with local schools, parent organizations, businesses, and community organizations to increase visibility, funding options and partnerships.
  • Making cold contacts daily and follows up on warm leads. Developing and maintaining resources to support all communities.

The Skills You Need to Win

  • Passionate about girl leadership
  • Excellent communication skills with knowledge of how best to reach different audiences and execute communications among multigenerational communities.
  • High School Diploma or College Degree preferred
  • Self-motivated and efficient with strong time-management skills
  • Great written and oral communication skills, including public presentations (virtually and in person)
  • Ability to relate well to both adults and children
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office, major social media platforms, and various video conferencing software; familiarity with Salesforce, a plus
  • Have access to automobile for daily travel
  • Girl Scout experience is very helpful (but not critical)
  • Comfortable and able to converse in Spanish would be useful (but not a must)
