We are looking for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented, partnership-focused individual who can interact with a diverse set of stakeholders (technical and non-technical). Someone with a proven ability to establish, grow, and lead collaborative, technology-oriented communities. You will be joining a small team, handle wide-ranging responsibilities and tackle both strategic and tactical work with enthusiasm. We’re looking for a motivated and proactive teammate with an interest in emerging technologies. If you’re eager to learn new skills, take on more responsibilities, and enjoy creating things from scratch, this role is for you.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Works with the Strategic Engagement Manager to develop community engagement strategy to grow and sustain long-term, thriving and active FinTech community relations.

  • Develops strategic community relationships with key companies, universities, and thought leaders in the industry that are complementary to the project ecosystem and initiatives.

  • Develops and maintains community events calendar and deliverables.

  • Attends key FinTech and Innovation events as a Truist representative.

  • Coordinates logistics for community events including booth set up, event registration, sponsorship membership, recruiting, event marketing material, etc.

  • Partner with strategic partners across the organization to ensure alignment and maximum support for community engagement efforts.

  • Assist in content development for community events.

  • Analyze efficiencies of community outreach and activities.Applies an analytical approach to measure success and reports back and suggests improvements.


QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree and eight years of experience or equivalent combination in general business management or consulting, with a wide variety of exposure to senior business executives.
2. In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline assigned (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, risk management, change management, etc.). Understand foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines.
3. Experience managing complex initiatives and projects with material strategic or operational impact to the business in terms of revenue, cost savings, or process improvement.
4. Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of senior executive audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders.
5. Advanced executive level communications skills, including persuasion, negotiation, and influence.
6. Experience leading, training, mentoring, and coaching other teammates.

Preferred Skills:
In-depth knowledge of FinTech and Technology Innovation community.
