Pastry Cook Position Open At Ggiata!
We are looking for a passionate individual to join the team at Ggiata. We are located on 5009 Melrose Ave. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged.
Kitchen experience is required. Baking/Pastry experience is a huge plus but not required. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, work in a cleanly manner, and keep a calm head under pressure. A comprehension of measurements/conversion is highly recommended.
Pastry Cook duties will include baking a wide variety of pastries, which incorporate several different techniques such as:
- Candy work
- Baking cakes
- Making cookie dough
- Chocolate work
- Jams/preserves/syrups
- Custards
- Pie doughs
- Knife skills
- Piping
This position will be starting at part time, with the intention to grow into full time.
It is important that this individual is organized, dependable, and looking to grow within the company. We are a rapidly growing business!
