Position: Project Manager/Business Analyst (10 Years Experience) Location: Madison, WI

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager/Senior Business Analyst with a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing IT projects for our client.

Top Skills & Qualifications:

  • Skilled in managing complex IT projects, leading teams, supporting stakeholders, and implementing IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge and direct experience working as a business analyst/project manager in collaboration with IT professionals to create requirements and develop technical specifications for custom applications.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall.
  • Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and best practices related to business needs, investigative techniques, workflows, use cases, user stories, comparison analysis, time and cost estimates, data analysis tools, and techniques.
  • Highly analytical and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint, legacy applications, and government environments.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical experts, end users, and other stakeholders to gather information about functions, features, data requirements, input requirements, and output requirements.
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as Confluence or DevOps.
  • Ability to create technical specifications, identify project roles, track resources, budgets, and monitor project progress.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing demands, and facilitate risk management.
  • Knowledge of system analysis techniques, business intelligence tools, Oracle databases, and SDLC.
  • Experience writing clear and concise documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, legacy applications, and government environments.
  • Experience working in State Government.
  • Experience working with legacy applications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
