The Georgia States Office of the Vice president for Research & Economic Development seeks someone with both HR and sponsored funding administration backgrounds to work in this dynamic environment to help us continue to make Georgia State a great place for people to work and to conduct their research.The Office of the Vice President for Research and the University Research Services & Administration (URSA) welcomes applicants for an HR Coordinator who will oversee all HR functions within the URSA unit that employs over 100 staff and assists with hiring of some sponsor-funded positions in our University Research Centers that are centrally managed.This position reports to the Associate Vice President for Research & Strategic Initiatives and works closely with leadership in all URSA units to oversee hiring and employment resources for all staff within the office. The position is expected to be knowledgeable about all university HR-related policies and procedures.
