Your Role
As Gensler's North Central Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist, you are committed to providing the highest quality candidate experience. You recognize the importance of investing time in candidates at all stages of their career. You are comfortable with a fast pace and can easily shift gears based on priorities. Your prior experience recruiting within the A&E industry will be of great value at Gensler, where we are committed to providing a "white glove" experience for our candidates while sourcing and attracting the most desirable talent within our industry.
To be successful in this role, you must also be well versed in general HR policies and procedures and possess exceptional customer service skills to help guide various HR processes.
This position will be supporting our North Central Region and will be based in our Chicago office.
What You Will Do
Partner with our HR team and senior leadership in the North Central region to define, implement and execute effective recruitment strategies
Represent Gensler as a Brand Ambassador, marketing our firm through best-in-class recruitment technology, and social media platforms
Manage a full-cycle recruitment process for candidates ranging from emerging talent through executive leadership; from research and sourcing through offer creation, presentation and acceptance
Prepare and post recruitment ads internally and on industry websites
Manage the logistics of candidate assessment and candidate presentation, providing background information to key stake holders, gathering follow-up feedback and checking references
Advise Hiring Managers on competitive research and market trends while offering strategic solutions for recruitment during changing business trends
Build a pipeline of targeted prospects for Gensler by developing relationships with candidates as a trusted advisor
Maintain applicant data and status changes through the recruitment process
Coordinate interview scheduling and follow up with our candidates, post-interview
Support new hire onboarding and orientation activities
Support Campus recruiting activities as needed
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience in a recruitment environment
Fantastic memory for all things related to recruiting talent (candidates, competitors, projects, connections to the firm, etc.)
Experience recruiting for an A&E firm preferred
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Excellent organizational skills
Experience using an ATS, Workday preferred
Exhibit a client service focused attitude and approach
Team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships
Able to meet competing deadlines and manage expectations
Familiar with EEO reporting, Visas and the PERM process a plus
Foundational understanding of human resources and recruiting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
Knowledge of Adobe InDesign is desirable
