We are seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to become the front-line support of the Lenexa headquarters office. The Receptionist will play a critical role in creating a welcoming environment for all employees and guest. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented and customer focused, with a positive attitude to assist in a dynamic environment.
Essential Functions:
Create a welcoming environment for all employees and guests, acknowledging and greeting all visitors in a polite and professional manner
Serve as HR front-line support to employees, providing assistance as applicable
Answer, screen and transfer incoming calls
Perform security measures including monitoring security cameras and reporting suspicious activities to designated point person
Maintain conference rooms & reception supply inventory for business readiness
Support compassionate care services with empathetic approach in support of employees
Order food and beverages for meetings
Post & maintain content on internal platforms under the direction of HR & Marketing
Act as a notary to provide support for contracts, lien waivers, corporate registrations, and other requirements, as necessary
Assist in supporting new hire onboarding efforts & event planning for the HR team
Update, organize, & maintain content on TV’s
Assist with ongoing administrative support functions
Other duties as assigned
This is an in-office position M-F, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Basic Qualifications:
Positive attitude to assist in creating a welcoming work environment
Strong customer service focus with problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, & non-verbal
Dependable, organized and a strong attention to detail
Ability to know when confidentiality is required and maintain it for security purposes
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks appropriately, and exercise sound judgement
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years experience with receptionist/administrative services, preferred

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting (stand up desk provided)
Ability to lift 15-20 lbs, preferred
