Position Overview: 

The Commercial Sales Consultant is responsible for building the brandwithin the commercial industry as their premier choice for window and doorsolutions. Achieve individual sales goals through a confidentpresentation of unique perspectives on how their customers can grow theirbusiness using product offerings. Provide profitable market solutions,technical expertise, and partnership by understanding customer needs anddeveloping business-partner relationships with architects, builders,contractors, and commercial organizations. Proactively originates newcustomer relationships through networking, referrals and face-to-facemeetings. Help customers grow their business and offer a single point ofcontact for their ongoing needs. Continually strives for 100% “VerySatisfied” customers, growth as measured by market share/net sales andprofitability.

The Commercial Sales Consultant’s (CSC) primary duty is outside saleswithin their assigned market. The CSC is required to:

·Spend over 50% of their time developing new business through prospectingactivities, as well as generating account growth with planned quality meetings

·Independently sets their own work hours, including evenings asnecessitated by project.

·For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, isrequired by law to include a good faith estimate of the compensation salaryrange for this role. This salary range is specific to New York City and takesinto account a wide range of job-related factors that may be considered inmaking compensation decisions. These may include, but are not limited to,job-related knowledge, skill sets, and qualifications; experience and training;certifications; location; relevant education; business needs and marketdemands. Base salary of $25K-$75K, plus commission and bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

·Prospecting and securing new business towards achieving individual salesand customer satisfaction goals and objectives.

·Generating growth within existing accounts by creating trust anddeveloping long standing partnerships that promote the brand.

·Actively network and represent at architecture/design firms, professionalgroups’ invitations, commercial association meetings and/or builder home showsto discuss and/or position products for specification in building plans.

·Engaging in a consultative sales approach to recommend the fenestrationsolutions that influences the buying needs of the customer.

·Leveraging other team members/departments to assist with specific productrequirements.

·Ensuring quotes and orders are accurate and in accordance with companyprocess.

·Responding to customer concerns and coordinating resources to resolveissues while striving for first-time resolution.

·Maintaining an exceptional level of expertise on products/servicesrelating to customers while stayingabreast of the competitive landscape and commercial building codes.

·Educating customers on manufacturer installation guidelines and measuringof openings to ensure accuracy of product ordering and applications.

·Thanking clients and encourage a continuing business partnership byacting as their central point of contact with

·Collaborating with Operations teams to ensure successful aftersale service requirements and installations.

·Interacting with Account Receivable department to address anypotential billing/payment issues.

·Strong CRM systems tools capabilities leveraged to manage all customerinteractions and proactively communicate with customers.

·Strong analysis and problem-solving skills

·Able to accurately read, interpret and take-off blueprints andengineering drawings

·Adaptable to changing processes and priorities

·Works well without close supervision but always keeps their managerinformed

·Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices, and ability to learninternal software programs and applications
