Project Manager in DMPK

Title: Project Manager, DMPK (Full-time)

Location: Exton, PA

Reports to: General Manager, DMPK

Position/Job Summary:

The project manager supports DMPK Services business. This position maintains and optimizes project management in DMPK for both existing and new customers. The focus of the role is to keep track of the projects and provide timely updates to management, function areas and customers when requested. The role also includes customer service such as responding to customers’ inquiries and providing updates.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of Projects.
• Work with colleagues to ensure that all projects are delivered on time within scope and invoiced.
• Provide project financial summaries as requested by the management.
• Able to use/master PM software tool to track progress and provide timely updates.
• Manage changes in the project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Organize meetings, create agendas, take minutes.

Education, Experience & Skills Required:

• BS or MS in project management, business, information system, or related area.
• 6-10 years of related experience in the biotech, pharma or preclinical CRO industry. 
• Familiar with drug discovery and development research.
• Ability to explore new tools/ideas of project management to increase efficiency and optimize work process.
• Excellent organization and planning skills.
