- BS Accounting
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- 4-7 years experience in an Accounting position.
- 2 years as a Staff Accountant
- Experience in non-profit organizations and healthcare is preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply in daily work
- Working knowledge of automated accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred)
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to meet deadlines and schedules
- Strong analytical and critical thinking ability
- Team player with strong growth mindset
Job Duties:
- Reconciles balances of assigned accounts each month to appropriate supporting detail, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Prepares and enters journal entries
- Produces internal financial statements and provides variance analysis
- Assists with budget preparation
- Assists with providing schedules and documentation for audits
