Summary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate all round trip transportation requirements for predetermined clients
• Utilize the current Exhibit Transportation shipment management system for all shipments and ensure that all necessary shipment documentation is properly prepared and distributed
• Effectively communicate and follow up with selective carriers to ensure transportation requirements are met
• Obtain most competitive freight quotes in a timely manner and communicate suggested retail pricing to account executives
• Effectively communicate shipment details with Freeman Transportation staffs, account executives, account managers, and project managers
• Responsible for communicating pertinent information to internal companies and departments to ensure seamless transportation services
• Efficiently utilize carrier software programs to monitor and manage all tendered shipments
• Manage and reconcile all carrier invoicing
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Offer transportation services to exhibitors who have not booked their transportation through Freeman
• Offer transportation services to exhibtors who have use us previously but are not longer using Freeman for these services
• Offer transportation services to exhibitors who only use us on one particular service in order to gain business from all trans services rendered
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prefer to have at least two (2) years in the transportation industry
• Prefer to be able to type 40 wpm
• Must have excellent 10-key by touch skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Must be detail oriented and organized
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong analytical and organization skills
• Excellent customer service skills
