Freedom Technology Solutions Group is Hiring a Human Resources Administrator Near Columbia, MD

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a dynamic and innovative Human Resources (HR) Administrator with a creative mindset to join our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to support HR initiatives and enhance employee engagement. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for both HR and creativity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations
  • Provide support for employee relations issues and HR inquiries, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries from employees
  • Generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts
  • Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, and other employee-focused events
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute creative employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist in creating engaging content for various channels

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in HR administration or related roles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications
  • Passion for creating positive employee experiences and driving a culture of creativity and innovation
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner
