FoxTrot Aviation Services is seeking an energetic, hands-on Program Manager (PM) who is passionate about employee development, customer relationships, and travel.
The Program Manager will be responsible for the safe operation and growth of 6-8 commercial aircraft cleaning locations.
1) This role is responsible for building great teams at each location. This will involve hands on training of Operations Managers and Supervisors, but also the coordination of resources from FoxTrot’s training department.
a. Frequent trips to meet each team is a must
b. The PM must be willing and able to clean with the team and get their hands dirty
c. A successful PM builds trust through the example he or she sets, fair quarterly evaluations of subordinates, and coaching and mentoring
d. The PM identifies and fosters talent inside FoxTrot
e. Knows, teaches, and fairly enforces company policy through training, audits, and FoxTrot’s discipline process when needed
f. Responds to closeout emails quickly and accurately, providing daily advice and support
g. The PM develops a family culture through excellence, with a focus on safety
h. Cares for FoxTrot vehicles and assets as appropriate
Success Metric is Low Turnover among the Operation Managers and Supervisors reporting to the PM
2) This role is responsible for building great relationships with customers
a. Builds in person relationships with multiple points of contact within clients’ structure so as to
b. Understands the needs of the customers through face-to-face conversations, quarterly meetings phone calls, and emails.
c. Attends local airport tenant events to grow the FoxTrot brand
d. Audits jobs, worksites, and personnel to ensure that client expectations are being met.
e. Coordinates travel to accommodate implementations, staff shortages, and weather events
f. Writes and distributes memos and CTQs to ensure quality across the network
g. Can explain and cross sell FoxTrot’s services to all types of customers
h. Works to earn ancillary revenue at base airports convenient to second shift airline operations
Success Metric is 15% revenue growth per year
3) This role is responsible for the financial performance of locations
a. The PM must achieve labor metrics across assigned locations to ensure system wide profitability
b. Trains Operations Managers in the basics of cost control and sales
c. Educates the Operations managers on FoxTrot’s values and core focus, as well as growth path
d. Staffing must be maintained so as to minimize overtime and maximize efficiency
e. Expense tracking and receipt submission through FoxTrot tools and software
Success Metric is 35% free cash flow across locations.
The PM reports directly to the COO and Ownership.
Skills
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2. Outstanding problem-solving skills, with a bias for action
3. Strong Leadership is a must
4. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
5. Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and walk throughout the workday
6. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
7. Strong customer relations skills. Able to converse in aviation terms like aircraft types, phonetic alphabet, military time, and other common vocabulary
8. Knows when to ask questions and where to find answers
9. Basic knowledge of financial statements and budgets
Compensation
· $85,000 Starting base
