About Foxfire Golf & Country Club
Foxfire is a private, bundled golf community in Southwest Florida with 931 housing units governed by a Master Association Board of Directors. Our annual budget is $9 million with 120 employees. Our recently renovated 27-hole golf course and brand-new amenity offerings are receiving rave reviews from our members.
Foxfire’s Clubhouse includes a Main Dining Room with a capacity of 220 people and a Grille Room and Grille Room Patio with up to 100 people. Additionally, the ideally situated Halfway House services the golf course, tennis and bocce courts, and an outdoor casual seating area for up to 80 people.
Position Summary
Foxfire Golf & Country Club seeks a valued team member and leader to ensure a high appearance, hospitality, and service standard in all Food and Beverage operations. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to engaging members with warmth and professionalism; working closely with our Chef to provide diverse menu offerings that are of high quality, delicious, and appeal to the eye; supervising and training all dining staff; managing the Food and Beverage departmental budget; and communicating regularly with all department heads within management group to plan golf and social activities, promote positive workplace culture and work toward the common goal of member satisfaction. Department Mission Statement: Provide a quality dining experience so that we are the members' first choice when dining out.
Education, Licenses, and Experience
● Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a similar field is preferred.
● Five years of management experience in the hospitality industry, with a thorough understanding of food and beverage operations and superior member/guest services required.
● Proficient in Event Planning, Public Speaking, Team building, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Scheduling, Microsoft applications Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Restaurant KPIs.
● Food safety certification – SERV Safe.
● Alcoholic beverage certification – TIPS.
