About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our team. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering efforts by assisting with the design, development, testing, and maintenance of various systems and equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and plan electrical specifications for the system.
  • Create and implement test plans.
  • Worked to create improvements that optimized production.
  • Accurately diagnosed and directed system issues.
  • Manage the diagnosis and repair of electrical circuits and writing.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to ensure safe production processes.
  • Performed preventative maintenance and tested equipment.
  • Utilized knowledge of power and distribution systems, circuit calculations, and instrumentation.
  • Routinely used tools such as oscilloscopes, function generator, and LCR meter.
  • Work with other engineers to solve problems and enhance processes


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering: A degree in electrical engineering or a related field provides the foundational knowledge necessary to understand electrical systems and specifications.
  • Experience in Electrical System Design: Demonstrated experience overseeing and planning electrical specifications for systems, including creating schematics and diagrams.
  • Test Planning and Implementation Skills: Proven ability to create and implement comprehensive test plans to evaluate the performance and reliability of electrical systems.
  • Process Improvement Expertise: Track record of identifying areas for improvement in production processes and successfully implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and output.
  • Diagnostic Proficiency: Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to accurately identify and direct resolution of system issues in a timely manner.
  • Electrical Circuit Diagnosis and Repair: Experience managing the diagnosis and repair of electrical circuits, including proficiency in writing diagnostic reports and repair documentation.
  • Safety Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to electrical systems to ensure compliance and promote safe production processes.
  • Preventative Maintenance Experience: Experience performing preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and conducting routine testing to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in utilizing tools such as oscilloscopes, function generators, LCR meters, and other instrumentation commonly used in electrical engineering.
  • Understanding of Power and Distribution Systems: Thorough understanding of power distribution systems, circuit calculations, and instrumentation to effectively design, diagnose, and optimize electrical systems.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers and team members to solve complex problems and enhance production processes.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and propose innovative solutions to improve electrical systems and processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information, collaborate with team members, and document procedures and findings.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving technologies and challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in system design, testing, diagnosis, and maintenance procedures.
