Foundation Building Materials is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team!
This individual will play a key role in supporting our sales activities.
This position requires that the individual primarily handles front counter sales focusing on customer relationships and handling sales of the company's products and services. This position may also evolve to include outside sales duties that would include cold calling and visits to jobsite locations (residential or commercial).
***Pay is negotiable***
Essential Functions:
- Professional and courteous ongoing contact with customers before, during and after a sale; includes taking phone orders, email or other electronic communication and servicing our walk-in customers.
- Preparing quotes as needed.
- Resolve customer inquiries.
- Coordinate with other departments in order to provide service to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stock, organize, and maintain the showroom to maximize sales and maintain inventory.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Support our company's foundational values in stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity, and other ways that make us the company of choice for employees and customers.

- Prefer 1 year previous sales experience in a fast-paced environment.
- High energy and a willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and fellow employees.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- Self-Motivated.
- Ability to quickly learn utilized computer system.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
- Hard working and dependable.
- High School diploma.
Quarterly bonus applicable after minimum employment duration requirement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
