Description

Assist in the review, estimating, consultation, bid pricing, resource planning, project management and coordinating with our team on varying scopes of work. This position is expected to be a subject matter expert, demonstrating strong leadership, communication, project management skills effectively as a project leader. This position is a full time, salaried position, located at our Chandler office for the right candidate who wants to work for a company that values his/her work, experience, and contributions with the ability to make impact.

Requirements

Essential functions

• Manage multiple projects of varying sizes and scopes.
• Responsible for developing project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs.
• Have a deep understanding of the industry norms and put them into practice collaboratively with the team.
• Supports all aspects of the company’s safety culture and create awareness through individual actions.
• Provide technical expertise related to design assist, installation, and network integration of complete and related systems.
• Create technologically specific scopes of work tailored to individual projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and obtain vendor & trade partner pricing to compile complete & accurate budgets or hard bid proposals.
• Manage budgets, costs, and projections on assigned projects.
• Manage budgets, schedule, staffing projections, milestones, deliverables, billing, and collections relating to assigned projects.
• As part of the project schedule develops, this role will manage a project plan & schedule to identify tasks, resources, and timing to achieve project objectives (scope, cost, quality). 
• Track and report progress on the achievement of project milestone(s) with team members, stakeholders, and team leaders.
• Prepare and submit payment applications per the contract requirements to meet client and internal billing deadlines. 
• Establish and maintain client, subcontractor, and colleague relationships. 
• Communicate, track, and resolve issues in an effective and prompt manner throughout the life of the project.
• Complete a post-project evaluation.
• Ensure that all project documents are properly managed and archived upon project completion per the client and contract requirements.

• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper managements, clients, fellow contractors, and other internal departments.
• Manages projects with a can-do attitude by researching information when needed and identifying solutions regarding roadblocks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the competencies listed above.
• Minimum of 1 year of low voltage installation experience.
• Experience with Control4, Savant, Alarm.com is a plus.
• Previous experience with low voltage projects as the project manager from starts to finish.
• Experience managing and installation on low voltage commercial construction projects.
• Skilled at learning and supporting new and innovative technology.
• Able to work well under pressure, remaining flexible during times of change.
• Proven to be self-directed to meet multiple deadlines while maintaining high work quality.
• Experience working with collaborative team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
• Experience with Project Management software is a plus (Microsoft Project, Sage, etc.).
