Qualifications:

• Mobile Field
• Supervisor
• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography (ARDMS)
• Valid Regular Driver License (DL) in the State of Virginia (VA)
• COVID-19 Vaccinated

Overview:
Our client is seeking an Area Operations Manager responsible for daily operations and supervising Radiological Technologists and/or Sonographers assigned to his/her region to ensure they follow company policy and procedures. The role involves planning and implementing schedules, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with state regulations and laws. The successful candidate will also maintain inventory, conduct staff evaluations, and ensure consistent patient care and turnaround times. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and implementing schedules and staffing within designated regions.
• Monitoring performance and forecasting service needs for personnel management, capital equipment justification, and departmental PL management.
• Changing policies to ensure compliance with State Regulations and Laws.
• Following all applicable Radiation and Health Department rules as set forth for any State they have Employees working in.
• Personal supervision of all staff within the designated region
• Direct clinical interaction with the performance of studies
• Maintains communication between management and technologists to ensure quality studies under the direction of the radiologist.
• Conducts staff evaluations on a 90-day and annual basis
• Assess employee needs and make recommendations to management on behalf of employees.
• Responsible for Image quality reviews.
• Ordering supplies, equipment, and equipment repair within designated regions.
• Maintains the inventory of equipment assigned to the designated region.
• Orient new employees to the company policies and procedures.
• Assist technologists in solving technical problems.
• Identifies and corrects problem behaviors through ongoing coaching and counseling.
• Review technologist payroll promptly to ensure productivity and resource control utilizing company metrics.
• Regularly communicates with dispatch to maintain consistent patient care and turnaround times.
• Plans and implements strategies and activities consistent with the overall aim and requirements of the company.
• Perform X-rays/Ultrasounds whenever necessary to maintain and improve service levels in their respective areas.
• Fleet Management Scheduling of vehicles/equipment for proper maintenance to ensure consistent reliability.
• Monitor and retain dosimetry reports in Radiology.
• Continuously monitor, develop, and oversee all technologist clinical credentialing, training, and quality of service.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations, Radiology Services.
• Adheres to health and safety policy and other requirements relating to care and maintenance of equipment and vehicle.
• Reports and documents accidents or incidences immediately.

Schedule and Shift Details:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; must be willing to be on-call for issues/emergencies on nights and weekends.

Travel:

• Up to 50% within the service area
