Medical Assistant for busy pain management office located in Jacksonville, FL. 3-5 years experience as a CMA.
Full-time, Monday-Friday (8 am-5 pm). Health insurance, generous paid vacation, holidays, plus many more benefits.
Duties include, but not limited to, assisting physicians with patients by taking vitals, recording detailed medical history, preparing specimens for lab orders, assisting with patient injections, accessing lab reports electronically, ordering/maintaining supply inventory, and assisting physicians with minor procedures. Applicant must be able to pay close attention to detail, have excellent medical skills, the ability to multitask, and have a solid working knowledge of medical terminology. Affable personality and ability to get along in a team environment while providing empathetic and compassionate care to a patient population is a must.
Requirements:
-High School diploma or GED
-Certificate from an accredited school in Medical Assisting
-Minimum 3-5 years working experience as a Medical Assistant
-EMR (eClinicalWorks) experience preferred but not required
-Strong customer service and exceptional interpersonal skills
-Excellent customer service. Employees are expected to treat patients with compassion and protect their rights.
-Must maintain current BLS CPR certification
-Basic computer knowledge required. Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
-Pain Management experience preferred but not required
Position available immediately upon completion and passing of drug screen and background check.
