Flip Electronics is an industry-leading electronic components distributor that specializes in making Component Obsolescence Obsolete. Flip is devoted to delivering full-service global supply chain solutions to our clients most challenging obsolescence problems. Our Authorized distribution model focuses on securing parts that are in short supply and high demand as well as products that are EOL or obsolete. Flip serves multiple market sectors including aerospace and defense, medical, transportation, industrial, and EMS. Flip’s Senior Sales Manager will enjoy the challenge of building and growing a new account base, while servicing existing accounts and growing the overall spend with Flip.

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the ideal candidate for this Senior Sales Manager requisition will have influential customer relationships within the transportation, medical and industrial market segments and a track record of exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals.

Must have industry experience!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Development of new customer relationships and sales revenue to drive consistent growth.
  • Extensive outbound calling and prospecting into buyers, materials managers, commodity mangers, component engineers, Supply Chain executives, and any customer decision maker.
  • Problem solving while providing component obsolescence consultation to customers
  • Manage incoming leads and convert them into revenue producing customers.
  • Responsible for setting up appointments and calls per week to review customers obsolescence challenges and explain Flip Electronics’ Value propositions.
  • Ability to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics including but not limited to revenue, margin and customer acquisition.
  • Consistent use of customer contact tools including outbound calls, email, NetSuite/Oracle, HubSpot, Zoom Info, etc. for proactive engagement of current and prospective customers.

Minimum Educational Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.S. Degree preferably with an Engineering focus
  • 10 years of experience in the Electronic Component industry

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills and ability to articulate all of Flip’s value proposition as an Authorized distributor
  • Goal oriented with attention to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver on measured metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to deliver customer service excellence
