WHAT YOU WILL DO

Flexware has continued to grow in both new and existing accounts and is looking for a Business Development Representative that will be responsible for selling our Engineering Services. Flexware is looking to expand these capabilities in our portfolio. You will be calling customers and working with our Business Development teams in existing, as well as, new accounts to grow these segments of the business.

As the Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Business Development Manager for further development and closure
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline of customers
  • Developing and nurturing Microsoft field sales relationships and leads
  • Develop effective sales plans and facilitate prospective client projects by working with delivery teams on scoping, estimating, and creating statements of work.
  • Collaborate with Flexware’s Automation, Integration and Software, Ignition, Products, and Enterprise Solutions Teams.
  • Track, update, and manage sales pipeline in accordance with Flexware standards in Salesforce
  • Understanding clients’ business needs
  • Contribute and collaborate with Business Development Team, delivery teams, and others to update and inform them of the progress of leads, proposals, projects, etc.
  • Understanding the manufacturing space and the target markets by working with Flexware's Marketing Team
  • Working with the entire Business Development Team to meet and exceed yearly targets
  • Establishing rapport with current and prospective clients and growing Flexware’s business by:
    • Researching assigned clients and possible contacts to grow accounts
    • Building relationships with new and existing contacts within specified account

WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE DONE BEFORE

Flexdogs are a rare breed of engineers. They come from varied backgrounds, but will have some of the following traits for this role. We are open to individuals with several years of proven sales capabilities:

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to sell manufacturing services at all levels of an organization
  • Experience working in a sales capacity
