Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a hospital setting. Responsibilities:

- Provide outstanding patient service, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their visit

- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs and triaging a patient

- Assist with X-rays and other diagnostic procedures as required

- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical charts

- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling phone calls

- Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures

- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills:

- Proficient in performing basic life support techniques

- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred

- Previous experience working in a clinical setting is an asset

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
