Our internship is curated to deliver a rich learning experience for both personal and professional growth. Location: In conjunction with WoWToWN’s current Ways of Working, we intend to offer a hybrid program for our interns, ensuring both a flexible and immersive experience. All applicants should plan to be in the Philadelphia area and access to our Home Office throughout the entirety of the program. Internship Details: 10 weeks: June 3rd – August 9th Full time – 40 hours/wk Paid – $17/hr Greater Philadelphia location – on site/office requirements vary by internship position but should be generally considered hybrid. On average, an intern can expect to be in our home office 3 times per week. Hands on, results driven projects. No coffee fetching here! Strategic Project focused, coupled with day-to-day responsibilities Highlights: Interactive experiences with Senior Leadership Team Professional Development Sessions Lunch & Learns Insight and participation into companywide initiatives High exposure/small group 100% intern satisfaction rate High intern conversion rate! (On average, we hire 2-3 of our intern alumni each year) And of course – some fun product! Project Details: The management & oversight of 5B’s supply chain requires a significant amount of data & reporting. However, the reports only scratch the surface in informing us what happened. We are beginning our journey to dive deeper into the data to better understand not only what happened... but why it happened, as well as predictive indicators to know in advance when we may need to focus on something. To remain agile in our ever-changing supply chain environment, the project will focus on one of the two below subjects, depending on need come June. Both focus heavily on analytics: 1) Build analysis that leverages future purchase order & planned allocation data to better predict upcoming UPC in our ship centers, which will directly tie to our labor planning. 2) Build analysis that mechanizes the review of purchase orders & automates the recommended changes to those POs for our teams to action. A potential extension of this project could include partnering with IT to develop RPA (robotic process automation) that leverages the analysis output to automatically update the purchase orders! Requirements: Must be actively enrolled as an incoming Junior – Senior in a relevant Bachelor’s program (See Desired Skills). Minimum 3.0 GPA Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software Must have availability for the full 10-week program as space is limited Must be a self-starter, highly passionate & detail oriented Active ability to problem solve & communicate effectively Knowledge and passion for our brand is a plus! Desired Skills: Area of Study: Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Analytics or similar Advanced modeling knowledge & report analytics Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information in a clear and concise manner Ability to work successfully both independently and in a ‘team-based’ collaborative environment Coursework in Coding, data scraping, or macro writing all a plus!
