We are searching for a Senior Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist - Biobank. This person will oversee operations of the organization's bio-repository and logistics facility.

Requirements for Senior Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist - Biobank:

4 years of experience in bio-repository and logistics management
Bachelor's degree preferred; or certification in relevant discipline
APICS, 6Sigma, CSCP, CPIM, CTBS, or QBRS, preferred
Previous team management experience, preferred
Experience working with industry databases, such as UNOS, DonorNet
Knowledge of biorepository best practices, standard rules and regulations (CAP, ISBER, NCI) and IATA shipping requirements
The ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment with rapidly changing priorities: proactive team player who thinks ahead, plans, and suggests solutions
A continuous learner who embraces a growth mindset
Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities of the Senior Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist - Biobank:

Management of the day to day responsibilities of managing bio-repository / logistics facility according to required policies, procedures, regulations, standards, and laws
Provide oversight for all bio-banked specimens to ensure compliance in sample receipt, handling, storage, and shipment conditions
Supervise and collaborate with small team to ensure smooth operations
Maintain freezer testing / validation certifications according to organizational policies
Order supplies and maintain inventory levels as needed
Create custom recovery / shipping kits for special projects
Work with senior management to monitor expenses to ensure alignment with annual budgetary goals
Familiar with the facility design, disaster planning, mitigation, inventory tracking software, and temperature monitoring software
Job will occasionally require flexible work hours
