We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join Ontic Engineering & Manufacturing, our Creedmoor based team. Project Managers lead project teams and are responsible for managing and driving assigned project related activities (internal and external) toward achieving scope, schedule, quality and financial objectives. The scope of each project may include transferring information, transferring physical assets, obtaining necessary approvals, and in some cases, manufacturing the initial lots of high priority products. What you will be doing: Project Managers have the following key tasks and responsibilities: Participation in pre-award evaluations of potential business development opportunities Project approach, planning, and scheduling Project integration, tracking, coordination, communications, and reporting Project scope and financial/resource control Project risk management Participation in licensor relationship management during the transfer process Project closure and hand-off to functional departments Management of on-going operations as assigned. Continuous improvement of department processes Other tasks as may be assigned by management. Your Experience: Education This position requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering, business, or science. A PMP or similar certification is highly desirable. Working 5 years' experience in program/project management in an engineering or manufacturing environment 3 year(s) experience within the Aerospace industry Intermediate to advance Microsoft Excel experience.
