What to Expect:

This Payroll Specialist will be responsible for all functions related to processing payroll and time tracking for UGE work groups. Contributes to the overall team strategy, planning, organizing to ensure corporate objectives are met. The payroll administrator drives UGE success by providing accurate and timely payroll and benefit records.

How you will make an impact:

• Prepare and audit payroll and eTime information for upload into the ADP system for all employees, both hourly and salaried, for multiple locations being processed on three different payroll cycles: Weekly, Bi-Weekly and Semi Monthly.
• Provide timely, high quality customer service to our employees with respect to their compensation concerns.
• Strengthen and develop the relationships with Payroll's internal and external customers.
• Timely and accurately perform payroll related tax compliance work and applicable tax payments.
• Recommend changes in methods or procedures to improve the efficiency of the payroll function.
• Provide necessary reports to internal departments to enable them to reconcile and analyze the general ledger accounts.
• Work with, maintain, secure and organize highly confidential personnel records.

Key Challenges:

• Initiate process improvements to fully utilize the payroll and eTime systems.
• Competently interact internally with Human Resources, General Ledger, Operations, Finance and Tax departments to provide timely and accurate vital business information.
• Effective decision making that supports the corporation's objectives.
• Improve communication and training to employees with respect to the payroll function.
• Maintain a comprehensive training documentation of payroll processes.

Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of payroll experience

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.

Compensation Information

Base salary range: $43,500- $53,500

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
