- Plan, design and manage a variety of private owner and public sector driven civil engineering projects
- Collaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplines, clients, and consultants
- Attend city staff and planning and zoning, and City council/board meetings
- Communicate with clients regarding current and future projects
- Organize and complete projects from inception to completion
- Prepare civil entitlements and construction documents
- Prepare preliminary and final drainage reports
- Prepare sitework and utility technical specifications
- Prepare project proposals
- Assist with business development efforts
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 8 - 15 years of civil engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Experience working with private owner and public sector projects and clients
- Ability to effectively manage clients and participate in business development activities
- Strong team player that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience required
- Contract and negotiating skills
- Sanitary sewer, water distribution, and storm water management design experience required
