We are seeking a Business Analyst who will serve as a member of a highly collaborative team to deliver, maintain, monitor, and support business and customer facing software solutions. You will work with product owners to clearly define and convey business needs to an agile development team. Serving as a liaison between business, product and technology teams to champion data governance initiatives focusing on the overall management and governance of critical data elements. Facilitating the gathering of requirements from end users, business and technology teams, and external vendors. Collaborating to develop and review system documentation to identify the objectives and requirements that will ensure the business needs are met. Drive team efficiencies and build in quality through lean agile methodologies providing recommendations for continuous improvement to team processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as the bridge between product management and technology.

• Conduct all Scrum related ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint retrospective and demos.
• Subject matter expert for cross-functional teams pulling from a foundation of broad Farm Credit Services of America/Frontier Farm Credit business knowledge and technical expertise of both current and future systems to provide input and feedback as recommendations and decisions are made.

Support the delivery of products and services through the coordination of efforts for a cross-functional team of business and technology teammates.

• Gather and perform analysis of business and user requirements in collaboration with product owners to understand desired system functionality. This may include coordination with other business and technology teams.
• Recommend innovative solutions to meet business needs and apply lean agile methodologies while participating throughout the project/product lifecycle.
• Participate throughout the development process assisting in translating customer and teammate needs and identifying system dependencies to ensure requirements are met.

Support applications and the overall management and governance of data across product development.

• Assist in the identification of critical data elements as part of a development team.
• Collaborate with data stewards and technology teams to create and update data models.
• Collaborate with product management and data stewards to catalog data definitions, data classification, and business rules.
• Gather and analyze data quality rules and requirements for implementation. Collaborate with technology teams to implement critical data quality rules at the source level and assist in creating quality metrics to preserve integrity of the data in use.

Education Requirements

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Minimum in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Agribusiness, Information Technology

Years of Experience

• 2 to 4 years of experience in experience researching, analyzing and developing solutions for complex computer applications issues and/or supporting business applications (relevant company knowledge/experience may off-set some of the technical requirement)
• Experience with Enterprise Application platforms including Adobe AEM, Salesforce and Microsoft M365 preferred.
